Since the beginning, rootAbility has been blessed by a great team of five people: Valentin, Ragnar, Arian, Ulrich and Felix. Almost three years into our existence, we are proud to announce that our team is expanding. We are happy to welcome Lukas and Tim to the rootAbility core team and Ariel and Marcelo to the Green Office Expansion team. Have a look at our team section here.
From the end of August, we will also welcome our first team of rootAbility Fellows. We will tell you more about the fellows in another post.
Tim and Lukas are joining the rootAbility core team, the beating heart the organisation. Both have worked with us for over half a year now, doing excellent work with running workshops for Green Offices.
Now, Tim and Lukas join rootAbility to continue creating great learning experiences for students and staff in Green Offices and beyond, to expand our workshop portfolio, help professionalize rootAbility and develop new and exciting high-impact services for individuals and organizations. Read more about their profiles on our team page.
Also Marcelo and Ariel are joining our Green Office Expansion team. Both have extensive professional experience and will be working with us to help spread the Green Office Model in Latin America and Southern Europe.
This will be quite an exciting experience, adapting the lessons learned about student-led and staff-supported Green Offices to the context of countries with different cultural and socio-economic contexts. Both will be engaged in developing outreach material in Spanish, pitching the idea of the Green Office Model and looking for funding to kick-start these Green Offices. This is going to be quite an exciting journey!
Then we had some more internal changes in the team, with Arian and Ulrich moving into advisory positions. As advisors, they continue to contribute to rootAbility’s cause by giving strategic advice, establishing important connections, and giving feedback on trainings and new business ideas that we come up with.
Some things stay as they have been since the beginning of this year: Valentin continues to drive the Green Office Movement, currently busy coordinating the organisation of the 2nd European Green Office Summit. Ragnar continues to maintain strong relationships to Green Office Initiatives in Northern Europe and beautifying rootAbility’s design. Felix continues to support Green Office initiatives, run trainings for Green Offices, and develop new services that we can provide.
These changes within the team will help rootAbilty to get new heights and to continue working on our cause: Working with intrapreneurs from across Europe to help them drive organisational transformations towards sustainability. Stay tuned!
